What helped: Sales agent? Searchlight Picture? Rashida Jones?
It is, of course, a taboo question, but with 1% of submissions accepted, we all know there is no place for luck or cold submissions.
Congrats Colby! This is awesome. I just finished the first draft of my first feature (many more drafts to come!) and I’m actively looking for jobs away from my current work in PR/politics and towards film/TV while I chip away on my personal projects. It’s always inspiring to read your updates and learn about the journey, which I know will be very long but very worth it—as I hope you are getting even just a taste of now!!!
