Welcome back! I’d like to say sleep gets better soon, but er…

Off to do some Present Writer-ing.

Truth can be revealed in the middle of sleep deprivation! This makes so much sense and I’m sure it’s appreciated by other writers with new babies or who are just challenged with the anxieties of day-to-day life. Always so much positivity in what you say Colby❣️

I don't mind if the line blurs a bit between "advice from a screenwriter" newsletter and "parenting" newsletter! I appreciate your insights about present writer and future writer and will apply them!

Thank you! Will try to keep the advice part to what I know A LITTLE BIT about, ie writing!

Yes, the never ending pursuit in the journey spiritual mindfulness. Being in the moment, the second, in the very thought! Meditation seems ironic…clearing the mind, only to realize we are the “thought”.

I don’t know how you creatives do it. To be on that “page” and be mindful of what the thought process of the character is, the interaction in the scene. Do you know what the “problem” to be solved is? Does the character actually identify the problem?

In life, the answer is so subtle in the stumbling blocks we encounter. It’s when we are still the path seems to become clear.
